Fireworks Columns is a free flash game developed by Novel Games, basically another match-three puzzle in the style of Tetris, very easy to play and with an attractive interface. The goal is to create lines of at least three bombs of the same color to remove them from the playfield, preventing them from reaching the top of the screen. These lines can be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal.
You will see columns of three bombs continuously fall from the top of the screen at an increasing speed, and with the keyboard arrows you need to arrange and swap these bombs in order to create lines. For every line you create, the game will display some cool fireworks effects. As you advance through levels, the game increases in speed, and some people may find it addictive. But it’s actually the sort of gameplay that wears out after a while as there isn’t much variety, and besides, it's too easy.
The game's interface is designed in Flash, so the application is very small in size and still very colorful and attractive. There isn't any music during the game, and the sound effects are rather scarce. In short, the simplistic gameplay and the low difficulty level make this game just another Tetris clone.
